The pandemic has been a wakeup call to humanity and organizations around the world have had to re-evaluate their management and leadership styles, while HR as a function remains as the fulcrum for effective change management. Evidently, in a VUCA world that we exist in, it is for HR and organizational leaders to sustain the growth trajectories, while defining the future goals - be it product diversification, market expansion, social outreach, mergers and acquisitions, or community development - HR, today, is redefining the future for organizations by playing the role of a strategic catalyst.

One of the fundamental aspects that needs attention is 'Employee Wellbeing'. Organizations are compelled to create value propositions that answer the 'what's in it for me' question, as a means of attracting and retaining top talent. A significant part of the value proposition focuses on holistic employee development and wellbeing and most organizations have understood this to be the need of the hour. It is ultimately 'talent' that creates the unique differentiator. With rapid technological changes, the future of HR could also witness applications around AI being implemented into several functions. The future most certainly seems interesting, and with automation and robotics redefining practices, it is time that we move the discussion from within the boardrooms to a larger forum, where HR leaders and practitioners would present insights and actual practices within their organizations on the central theme 'Future of HR and Employee Wellbeing'
