As I reminisce about my recent academic visit to Alliance School of Business as an international Faculty, I recall with pleasure, interactions with the graduate students enrolled in the Executive Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA) course at the School. Engaging these students in the classroom inspired in them newer dimensions of academic global corporations today. The current business scenario may be characterized by a shift from a world of predictable, incremental and linear change to that of radical and discontinuous change with clear global implications for businesses. Therefore, it is necessary for organizations to increasingly demand non-linear strategies for sustaining organizational competence. As the traditional paradigms of concepts such as organizations, industry and product/service become increasingly blurred, one would see new models of businesses that defy convention. From a purist and a pragmatic perspective, the important question before the new generation of business leaders will not be about ‘doing things right’ but about ‘doing right things’. The Executive MBA students at Alliance School of Business demonstrated these characteristics since they are conscientious, hardworking and diligent as well possess strong research, analysis and critical thinking skills. They also displayed ‘out-of-box’ thinking that is required for underlying perceptive analyses of contemporary management in addition to a strong aptitude for research.

All this makes no sense to people unaware of the European culture but our entire day revolves around these and much more of its kind. This is what it feels being in Berlin and discovering a new language, new people, new places—all thanks to Alliance University, for this opportunity of a lifetime.
The Dual Degree program at Toulouse Business School included exceptional classroom learning and study visits to various global corporations. I also had the opportunity to learn and understand different cultures through my interactions with peers from all over the world.

The short but intensive course, ‘The European Management Approach’ gave me a strong foundation in Management concepts with...
