Master of Public Policy
Overview
The Master of Public Policy (MPP) programme is designed to equip students with a robust understanding of public governance, policy analysis, and interdisciplinary solutions for global challenges. The programme offers a multidisciplinary curriculum to help students gain skills and competencies to be public policy experts capable of making effective policy decisions.
Graduates of the Master of Public Policy can pursue a wide range of career paths in public service, non-profit organisations, and the private sector. Through a combination of rigorous coursework, hands-on experience, and exposure to the real-world policy-making process, students are prepared to become future policymakers and public leaders. We aim to provide a multidisciplinary education fostering research, ethical policymaking, and stakeholder engagement.

Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree from any stream from recognized university with minimum of 50% aggregate.
A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST / OBC (non-creamy layer) / Differently Abled.
Specialization
Economics and Social Policy
Social inequalities and welfare challenges remain key issues in governance and development. This course covers welfare systems, equity frameworks, poverty alleviation, healthcare, and education policy interventions. The specializations aim to equips students to design inclusive policies addressing social justice, equity, and societal well-being in diverse global contexts.
Artificial Intelligence and Technology
The rapid growth of AI and digital technologies is transforming governance, public services, and security. Focuses on AI applications, digital governance, e-governance systems, innovation, and cybersecurity in policymaking. The specialization prepares students to leverage technology for policy innovation, efficient public service delivery, and addressing emerging digital challenges.
ESG and Corporate Sustainability
The challenge to achieve the sustainable development goals has become essential for businesses and policymakers worldwide. The specialization will explore sustainable corporate practices, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) frameworks, and ethical business strategies. Students will be able to align business operations with sustainability, ensuring long-term economic, environmental, and social impact.
