Master of Computer Applications - Game Development

Overview

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Game Development is a specialized postgraduate program designed for students passionate about creating interactive and immersive video games. The program combines core computer science principles with game design, graphics programming, and interactive media, equipping students with the skills necessary to develop complex and engaging games across various platforms, including mobile, PC, and consoles.

The curriculum covers a broad range of topics, such as game programming, 3D modeling, artificial intelligence in games, game mechanics, virtual reality (VR), and game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine. Students learn how to integrate storytelling, physics, and user experience design into the development process, alongside gaining proficiency in languages like Python.

Eligibility


Passed BCA / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Degree or passed B.Sc. / B. Com. / B.A. with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level (with additional bridge Courses as per the norms of the concerned University).

Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination.
