B. Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering – Cyber Security (IBM | Palo Alto)

Overview

With a focus on Cybersecurity, the programme offers a comprehensive four-year undergraduate journey designed to impart students with an in-depth understanding and practical skills in the critical field of cybersecurity. Merging core computer science principles, software development, and specialized cybersecurity knowledge, the program positions students for diverse career opportunities across government agencies, financial institutions, healthcare organizations, and technology firms.

This programme is meticulously crafted to address the growing demand and skill requirements anticipated in the cybersecurity landscape for the next decade. With a commitment to bridging the projected 3.5 million global cybersecurity job vacancies by 2025 (as reported by the NY Times), the curriculum aims to equip students not only with technical prowess but also essential soft skills and IT management capabilities. The unique hybrid approach integrates theoretical cybersecurity concepts with hands-on industrial applications, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for the dynamic challenges of the cybersecurity domain.

At Established Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with academic partners facilitate training, enabling our graduates to obtain industry-ready certifications such as EC-Council’s Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and others.

Eligibility


For Regular

10+2 from recognized Board / Council with Minimum 50% marks in Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject.

Score in JEE (Main); JEE (Advanced); Karnataka CET; COMED-K; AUEET (Alliance Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Test); or any other State-Level engineering entrance examination.


For Lateral Entry

Passed Diploma examination with at least 50% marks in relevant branch of Engineering and Technology.

Passed B. Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 50% marks & passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC / ST.
