To commemorate the World Environment Day, Alliance University hosted a tree planting session at Byagadadenahalli Government School. The event included an informative session on the importance of green cover in preserving the ozone layer which was conducted by the Department of Student Support Services.

The Registrar of the University presided over the event and the Head Mistress of the school shared her views with the children of the institution. The students of the school took turns in preparing the plantation area and also planted saplings in and around the school. The event came to a befitting close with the children taking an oath to protect and help in the growth of the saplings and also take part in many more activities pertaining to environment protection and preservation.
