The Office of Career Advancement and Networking conducted a Mock Group Discussion and Personal Interview event tailored for MBA students from the Batch of January 2023–25. This event was designed to address the challenges students face during personal interviews and to boost their confidence in presenting themselves effectively.
Diverse Corporations Conduct Interviews
In this comprehensive exercise, ten corporations representing various industries were invited to engage with students. These professionals conducted real-time interviews, simulating actual corporate scenarios. The event aimed to offer students practical experience in handling interviews across different specializations within business studies. By exposing students to diverse perspectives and interview styles, the event provided a valuable opportunity for them to practice and refine their skills in a realistic setting.
Assessment and Feedback
During the event, students were evaluated on multiple criteria, including their performance in group discussions and their domain-specific knowledge. The assessment process was thorough, with each student's performance being carefully reviewed to ensure accurate results.
Post-assessment, students received individual feedback from the participating corporations. This feedback included detailed suggestions for improvement and practical interview tips. The insights provided were intended to help students enhance their interview skills and address any areas of concern. The feedback process was a key component of the event, as it offered students actionable advice to support their ongoing professional development.
