In association with QShala, Alliance University organised Law Quest 2024, a national quiz competition on law, policy, and global affairs. The event aimed to encourage academic engagement and provide a platform for students to display their knowledge in these areas.

Preliminary Round Participation

The online preliminary round of Law Quest 2024 saw participation from 84 teams and 251 participants from across India. Students showed significant interest in the round, showcasing their enthusiasm for law and policy-related topics.

Semi-Final Round

The semi-final round featured 38 individual teams and 105 semi-finalists from cities including Trivandrum, Chennai, Erode, Bengaluru, and Mysore. This written quiz round determined the top six teams that advanced to the grand finale.

Inauguration Ceremony

The event was inaugurated by the Registrar General, Ms Surekha Shetty; Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Dean of the Alliance School of Law, Dr V. Shyam Kishore; and Co-founder of QShala, Mr Raghav Chakravarthy.

Grand Finale and Evaluation

The grand finale consisted of multiple evaluation stages. Participants competed in rounds that tested their understanding of law and policy, keeping the audience engaged throughout the event.

Prize Distribution

The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Mr Karthik Raja, CEO of FACE Prep, who sponsored the event. NPS School, Indiranagar, was declared the winner and awarded a cash prize of ₹30,000 and a trophy. GHSS School, Thonnakkal, Kerala, secured the first runner-up position with a cash prize of ₹20,000 and a trophy. NPS School, Koramangala, received the second runner-up position, winning ₹10,000 and a trophy. Carmel School, Trivandrum, and Vidyaniketan Public School, Bengaluru, were presented with consolation prizes of ₹5,000 each. All semi-finalists received certificates and goodies.

Conclusion

Law Quest 2024 highlighted the importance of academic engagement in law, policy, and global affairs. The event reaffirmed Alliance University's commitment to providing platforms that enhance learning and participation.
