The Internal Smart India Hackathon 2024 was conducted at Alliance University, an event organized under the Ministry of Education, Government of India's Innovation Cell. A total of 105 teams participated in the internal hackathon, competing across 11 panels. Students tackled real-world challenges across various themes, which included Space Technology, Robotics and Drones, Travel and Tourism, Clean and Green Technology, Smart Education, Agriculture, Food Technology, and Rural Development. Each team worked collaboratively to present solutions that could address problems in these sectors, contributing to technological advancement and societal development.
Judging Panel and Industry Support
The judging panel comprised industry experts and senior faculty members. The experts hail from leading organizations such as Alpha Semiconductors, Publicis Sapient, Infosys, Hewlett Packard, Novigo Solutions, Aragen Life Sciences, KPIT Technologies, Siemens EDA, McAfee, and TATA Advanced Systems Limited. Their insights provided valuable guidance to the students, helping them refine their ideas and improve the feasibility of their solutions. The judges focused on evaluating the impact, scalability, and real-world application of each project presented by the participating teams.
Student Innovation and Solutions
Throughout the event, teams developed solutions that addressed pressing issues, from using drones for agricultural purposes to proposing sustainable methods for space exploration.
