INNOSPARK-2024, a management fest, was organized by Sapient College, Mysore, in collaboration with Alliance University, Bengaluru. The event was held at Sapient College’s Canopus auditorium, with participation from over 280 students representing 20 colleges in and around Mysore. The fest offered a platform for students to engage in various management-related activities, encouraging practical learning and collaboration. 

Inauguration and Opening Activities 

 
The event commenced with an inauguration ceremony, with Dr. V J Byra Reddy, Dean of Academic Affairs at Alliance University, serving as the Chief Guest. Dr. Sujatha Bopanna, Dean of Sapient College, Dr. K Ganesh, Principal of Sapient College, and Dr. Ketan Suresh, Assistant Professor and Founder of Beyond Books Organisation, also graced the occasion.  

After the inauguration, Alliance University led an ice-breaking session, followed by a team-building activity. Participants were then grouped into six teams, with each team assigned to a specific management role, including CEO for Best Manager, CFO for Finance, COO for Marketing, Human Resource Management, Risk Analyst, and Photography. 

Panel Discussion and Additional Events 

 
The fest also included a panel discussion, where Dr. Chaitra Narayan, Director of Kodagu Agritech Private Limited, served as the Guest of Honor. The panelists were Dr. Dharma Prasad, CEO and Chief Scientist at Boiconformatics Private Limited; Dr. Thangam Ravichandra Singh, Associate Professor at Alliance University; and Mr. Kashyap Prasad, Vice President of Finance at BHIVE Workspace. The discussions provided insights into the practical aspects of management, aligning with the event’s objective of fostering real-world learning. 

Additionally, a fashion show was organized with participation from students at both Alliance University and Sapient College. Actress Ankita Amar and designer Yashaswini Vishal were among the notable attendees, adding to the interest surrounding the event. 

Competition Results 

 
INNOSPARK-2024 saw active participation in various competitions, with students showcasing their management skills. In photography, Amith K from Sheshadhripuram Degree College secured the top position, with Sneha P from Sapient College as the runner-up. The risk analysis event was won by K Rahmath Zohra and Kunal from Trinity College, with Darshan S and Preetham S from GSSS taking the runner-up position. In marketing (COO), Sangeetha U and Shivani Aradhya from Trinity College won, while Sandhya C.R and Nikitha H.L from Maharani Women’s College were runners-up. 

In Human Resource Management, Rahul and Sina Kami from Amrita College emerged as the winners, with Muwaffiqua Khanum and Anillia Vegiliawaz from Trinity College taking the runner-up spot. The finance event saw Pranav and Shaakunthala from Amrita College winning, while Bhoomika and Jayashree from Trinity College finished as runners-up. Niharika from GSSS was awarded Best CEO, with Manaswini from Sapient College as the runner-up. Trinity College was declared the overall winner of the event. 

Valedictory Function and Conclusion 
Ms. Surekha Shetty, Registrar-General at Alliance University, presided over the valedictory function, where she presented the awards to the winners of the various competitions. She acknowledged the efforts of all participants and emphasized the role such events play in enhancing skills and fostering collaboration among future leaders. INNOSPARK-2024 provided students with a valuable opportunity to engage in practical learning across various management fields.
