A delegation from the German Consulate and industry leaders visited Alliance University to explore opportunities for collaboration in education, research, sustainability, and workforce development. The discussions aimed to strengthen Indo-German partnerships, facilitate global academic exchanges, and enhance industry-academia engagement. The delegation included Ms Annette Bassler, Deputy Consul General, German Consulate; Dr Manjula Mundakana, Senior Advisor, German Consulate, Bengaluru; Mr Siju Thomas Daniel, Peace Ambassador and Founder, SCEAD Foundation; Mr Harsha Vardhan, Additional Director General of Customs, GST, and Narcotics (Retd.); Mr Satish Sharma, VP & Head – International Marketing, Anthem Biosciences; and Ms Mahima Mishra, Head HR, Anthem Biosciences.
During the visit, the delegation engaged in discussions with the university’s leadership, faculty, and students on potential academic collaborations and opportunities for international exposure.
