Alliance University introduces Value Added Course in Communicative Kannada:

The Department of Language and Literature, School of Liberal Arts, Alliance University has introduced Value Added Course in Communicative Kannada for the faculty and Staff members of the University.

The Inaugural Session of the Value-Added Course was held on 25^th Aug 2023 at Alliance University, Central Campus. The dignitaries inaugurated the session with Lighting of Lamp, signifying a stride towards fostering deeper connections within the university's community.

Understanding local culture through language, by Dr. Liju Jacob

Dr. Liju Jacob Kuriakose, Assistant Dean, School of Liberal Arts in his Inaugural Address emphasised on the importance of learning indigenous language of the region where we live, and he also said that knowledge of local language always helps to know the culture of that place.

Navigating Ancient, Medieval, and Modern Phases for a Seamless Life: Dr. Shekar’s Keynote Address

Dr. Shekhar R, Deputy HOD, Computer Science & gave a Keynote Address on this occasion. He opined that Kannada Language is one of the important official Languages of India. The history of Kannada Language has been broadly classified as Ancient Kannada, Medieval Kannada, and Modern Kannada. He also opined that Learning Local Language always make the livelihood easy.

Bridging 2500 Years: Dr. B.S. Reddy's Talk on Learning and Community Connection

Dr. B. S Reddy, Professor, Alliance School of Law delivered a Special Address on this occasion. He said that learning of local language also helps the individuals those who want to pursue Professional and Technical Education and also aids in connecting with local people through conversation.
