The Centre for Constitutional Law and Human Rights at the Alliance School of Law organised a special event commemorating Constitution Day. Shyam Kishore, Professor and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Dean of the Alliance School of Law, delivered an insightful talk on the continuing significance of the Constitution and its Preamble in the 21st century. He emphasised how the Preamble symbolises democracy, equality, and justice as a foundation for the nation's governance. He explained that the Constitution remains a living document, adapting to the evolving aspirations of the people. Dr Shyam Kishore also led the reading of the Preamble, encouraging active participation from students and faculty and developing a collective reflection on its values.
