With a resounding spirit of innovation and a shared commitment to sustainability, the new batch of BBA/B. Com students of 2023 showcased their exceptional ideas during the orientation program's final day. The theme, "Building a Sustainable Future: A Better Planet for All," ignited the passion of 40 teams who competed fiercely in the Preliminary Round, leaving the esteemed panel of judges in awe of their dedication and enthusiasm. After a rigorous selection process, only 8 teams emerged as finalists for the ultimate "Battle It Out" event, held on July 21st.

The event was graced by distinguished external juries, including Mr. Ashwin Patil, an esteemed Investor associated with We Founder Circle and a Member of the Board of Directors of Sathi India; Mr. Abhishek Singh, the visionary Co-Founder & CEO of SecureDApp; Dr. Manjunath A.V, a prominent Director from the Karnataka Evaluation Authority, Government of Karnataka; and Mr. Himanshu B, the illustrious Founder of Everything Recycles. Their diverse perspectives brought a unique dimension to the evaluation process, enriching the experience for all involved.

A standing ovation reverberated through the hall as the winners were announced, with Soumyadip Layek, Sriram Chandra Bose Parimi, Subhojeet Mandal, Sushmita Sen, and Kripa Ajay Kamdar claiming the prestigious gold award. Their exceptional presentation skills and innovative solutions addressing the Sustainable Development Goals set unparalleled benchmarks for excellence.

Heartfelt congratulations were bestowed upon the runner-up, Bhavyashree Patil, for earning the well-deserved silver award. Their remarkable efforts and contributions were admired and applauded by all.

The bronze award-winning team, comprising Aaryaman Singh, Abhinav Malik, Abhishek Ramkrushna Patil, Krrish Kumar, Sinchana S, and Bhanumathi T N, were also lauded for their dedication in presenting thoughtful solutions to the SDGs.
