Alliance University Welcomes Delegates from Cattolica International and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore

The Office of International Affairs at Alliance University organized a meeting and welcomed delegates from Cattolica International and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore for discussions on potential joint initiatives that span across articulation pathways, student exchange programs, research partnerships, faculty development, capacity-building projects, and beyond. The delegation comprised Mr Gianluca Samsa (Associate Director of Education Abroad), Ms Arianna Malavasi (International Marketing and Recruitment Officer), and Mr Krutarth Hendre (In-Country Representative for India).
Representatives of Alliance University included Dr Ray Titus, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Incubation and Innovation); Dr Reeba Korah, Professor and Interim Dean at the Alliance College of Engineering and Design; Dr Abdul Hameed, Professor, Area Chair (Finance) and Head of Academic Operations at the Alliance School of Business; Prof. (Dr) Pankaj Kumar Sharma, Professor and Director (Operations and Strategic Management); and Ms Sai Prasanna and Ms Sabrina Lawrence.
Pro-Active Discussions
Ms Sai Prasanna provided a comprehensive overview of Alliance University, emphasizing its strengths and various departments. She showcased the institution's commitment to academic excellence and innovation, highlighted the university's strengths, and demonstrated a holistic commitment to fostering global leadership and a well-rounded academic experience, particularly in alignment with its key attributes. She also talked about the Global Leaders Alliance Program and our unique approach to liberal arts.
Dr Pankaj Kumar Sharma outlined the university's interest in establishing collaborations, both academically and programmatically, with institutions across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. He specifically mentioned exploring opportunities for joint programs, student and faculty exchanges, internship alliances, and research collaborations.
Ms Arianna Malavasi discussed the structure of academic programs at the university, emphasizing the flexibility for students to transition from bachelor's to master's to Ph.D. programs. She talked about the option for students to apply for specialized master's programs after completing a three-year bachelor's degree.
Ms Arianna Malavasi and Mr Gianluca Samsa discussed potential articulation agreements and considered the possibility of student mobility through regular offerings under Erasmus Mundus programs, internships, and semester exchange programs during the summer.

The discussion also continued with various aspects like faculty mobility and research collaboration, faculty mobility, and graduation and job placement opportunities.
