Alliance University has added yet another dimension to ensuring that all its stakeholders both internal and external get a more rewarding opportunity to build on communication and leadership. This comes in wake of the growing need to build a more responsible and engaging society; and of the few global organizations that are working towards this goal is the Toastmasters International.

Toastmasters International is a world leader in communication and leadership development. Today it has more than 352,000 memberships. Members improve speaking and leadership skills by attending one of the 16,400 clubs in 141 countries that make up the global network of meeting locations.

Alliance University has a long standing relationship with the Toastmasters International (www.toastmasters.org). With a club of its own at the University campus; Alliance Toastmasters Club is one with a mission to provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. The membership to the club is open for all alumni, students, staff and faculty of the university.

To make the engagement with Toastmaster International more promininent and stronger, Alliance University would be the host for all the meetings of the BTM Toastmasters Club at its premises in BTM Layout, Bangalore. The engagement came into effect from July 7, 2018. Alliance University is proud and honored to be an integral part of the Toastmaster International and is sure that it will create a mutually rewarding experience to all its members.

Many of our alumni, who have aced the corporate world have been a part of this club, most notable among them being Mr. Tony Francis, author of the book "The Autograph Seeker" (www.theautographseeker.com); National Manager- Key Accounts at WPP; and the charter President of the erstwhile Toastmasters club of our college, way back in the year 2000.

With such an impressive past and a very promising future in leadership Alliance University cherishes the relationship with Toastmasters Internaternational and hopes to take it to greater heights.
