Alliance University inaugurated the Intel Centre of Excellence (CoE) on campus. The labs in the CoE are focused on driving learning in market relevant areas for Industry ready skill development. The centre will enable to equip Engineering students of Alliance College of Engineering & Design and also students from other streams of Alliance University for the present demand and future skills enhancement in the field of Technology, High Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence, Edge Computing, IOT, and Embedded Systems, with certifications from Intel. The lab will enable Alliance University to impart experiential learning using Intel hardware, software and also enable faculty and students to perform high end research. This centre is implemented by FICE.

The Centre was inaugurated on May 11, 2022 by Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Administration & Affairs), Dr Punith Cariappa. Mr. Pradeep G, Director, Intel FICE presided the inaugural. Dr. Samir Ranjan, Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academics & Research); Dr. Nivedita Mishra, Registrar; Dr. Reeba Korah, Dean - Alliance College of Engineering and Design; Dr. Abraham George, Head of Department - Computer Science & Engineering were part of the inaugural along with faculty, staff and students.
