Alliance University Management Development Program on Creating a Culture of Creativity and Innovation in the Organization

The Management Development Program (MDP) & Corporate Training Program (CTP) department of Alliance University conducted its 5th MDP workshop for the year on the theme “Creating a Culture of Creativity and Innovation in the Organization” on 2nd and 3rd June 2022 at the Central Campus in Anekal.
The Program was conducted by two eminent professors from the domain of Operations Management, Prof. Satish Menon and Prof. Kali Charan Sabat. The MDP was attended by corporate folks from the IT, services, and manufacturing sectors, and national and international faculty members of various institutes.
The broad objective of this program was to develop an understanding amongst the participants of the various approaches to creating a culture of creativity and innovation in organizations.
The secondary objectives of the program were:
- To enrich the physical workplace to drive creativity and innovation
- To assess whether the organization is a net positive or negative in fostering creativity and invention
- To develop a framework for promoting the culture of Creativity and Innovation
The first day of the MDP comprised of the topic, “Breaking down barriers to innovation, and how to capitalize on disruption”. The second day comprised of “Decoding culture and its role in managing innovation and nurturing individual ideas and passion”.
The MDP witnessed 41 participants attending the sessions during the two days of the program. The methodology used was a blend of lectures, group discussions, case studies, quizzes, video, and creativity assessment test. The program was very well received by all the participants.
