In a dedicated effort to foster innovation and excellence among its students, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Alliance College of Engineering and Design, Alliance University, organized an enlightening Industrial Incubation Centre visit to FORT-FORGE Academy in Hosur. This immersive experience took place on January 10, 2024, with the participation of 45 4th-semester students and three esteemed faculties.

FORT-FORGE Academy, powered by SIPCOT (State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu), stands as a beacon for industrial transformation in the digital age. This innovative ecosystem seamlessly blends manufacturing excellence with technology leadership, entrepreneurial innovation, and the cultivation of future-ready talent. The academy has forged a strategic partnership with Forge Innovation and Technology Lab, based in Coimbatore, creating a synergy that propels the boundaries of technological advancement.
Design Thinking Modules and Real-World Technology Needs
The highlight of the visit was the insightful discussions that the 4th-semester students engaged in with industry leaders and technicians. The focus was on understanding Design Thinking modules and gaining real-time insights into the technology needs of the industry. This interactive session aimed to align student knowledge with the latest technological trends to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
