The Institution's Innovation Council at Alliance University hosted a session titled "Effective Sales & Marketing Strategies for Entrepreneurs." The session featured a talk by Mr Sayantan Mookherjee, founder of 221B Baker St., a Calcutta-based startup. The company solves complex problems, builds strategic relationships, and supports business growth. Drawing inspiration from Sherlock Holmes, Mr Mookherjee's approach combines investigative expertise with emotional intelligence to deliver impactful solutions, a methodology reflected in the name and operations of his startup.

The session began with a lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolising seeking knowledge, divinity, and transformation. Mr Mookherjee commenced his presentation with humour, emphasising that the first step in gaining attention is to stand out and shine brightly. The Government of India established the day to support and encourage the development of entrepreneurial ventures. In line with this, the Alliance University Institution's Innovation Council (AUIIC) hosted Mr Mookherjee to inspire students, encourage innovative ventures, and facilitate knowledge-sharing among aspiring entrepreneurs.
