In its endeavor to strongly support exceptional student initiative, Alliance University recently hosted and organized Converge at its Central Campus—a two-day, national-level, intercollegiate student festival and cultural extravaganza, which celebrated the exuberance of youth and talent in its myriad forms. With participation by over 600 students from 45 universities and other institutions of higher learning across the country, Converge, showcased their talent across a multitude of dimensions: academic learning, business acumen, technology insights and cultural appreciation. Events such as the Best Manager, Aura (fashion show) and Rock of Ages not only stood out for their popularity among the participants but also witnessed fun, creativity, competitiveness and fiery enthusiasm. Alliance University who had earlier inaugurated Converge handed out the awards and prizes on the concluding day to the winners, and while deeply appreciating the efforts and contribution of the students of Alliance University in the festival thanked all the participants for their involvement in making the Alliance Carnival 2014 memorable.
