Alliance University was engulfed in nostalgia on 19th December 2015, as the Alliance diaspora spread across various regions congregated to make the event a huge success. The event was a wonderful opportunity for alumni along with their family members to network with the fellow alumnus, faculty, staff and current students.

Alliance University hosted a two day seminar of Cultural Coordinators / DSWs on AIU UNIFESTs in association with the Association of Indian Universities during September 11 and 12, 2015

The program was inaugurated by Dr. Avinash C Pandey, Vice – Chancellor, Bundlekhand University, Jhansi, Dr. AH Rajasab, Vice – Chancellor, Tumkur University, Dr. MS Shyamasundar, Adviser – Incharge, NAAC, Shri Sampson David, Joint Secretary, AIU

The two day seminar included paper presentations on the following topics:

• The role of Inter – University (UNIFESTs) in promotion of Human and Cultural Values and National Integration
• Organizing and Management of UNIFESTs and other Youth Programmes
• A Critical Analysis of Cultural Events of the UNIFESTs

We had nominated eminent speakers for the above topics these included Dr. Satish Verma, DYW, Panjabi University, Punjab, Dr. Pari Parmeshwaran, Cultural Coordinator, Madurai Kamraj University, Tamil Nadu, Dr. Arun Patil, Ex Cultural Coordinator, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur, Dr. Sorabh Lakhanpal, Head, Division of Student Affairs, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, Punjab and Dr. Vasant Kiran, HOD, Dept. of Performing Arts, Alliance University. All of them shared their views and answered the participants’ questions and clarified their doubts.
