Alliance University has signed a Research and Community experimentation focused Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Child and Adolescent Foundation India (CAF. India). CAF India is a registered independent, a national non-profit Research company dedicated to transforming the lives of children and adolescents by striving towards their developmental foundation through health, education, research, and technology. The organization is committed to delivering the highest standards of care, advancing the science of the developing brain and empowering parents, researchers, professionals and policymakers with their support so that they can work for the welfare of the children.
Institute of Child Development Education Research & Technology (ICDERT), a unit of CAF India along with Alliance University aims to empower people and teams associated with Child and Adolescent wellbeing with resources and training to pioneer and deliver the current and advancing perspectives through learning and application.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Mridula C. Jobson, member of CAF India along with Dr. Samir Ranjan, Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academics and Research), Alliance University and Dr. Reeba Korah, Dean, Alliance College of Engineering and Design.
CAF India Team comprises of highly experienced senior advisory members associated with child health and welfare. They have a specialized council viz Clinical, Mental Health, Rehabilitation, Education, Social welfare, Legal, Technology and Research formed by a group of experts in every sector that can bring out the best through collective ideas addressed in a 'multidimensional' way. Every council delivers an "appropriate" solution for the given problem addressed in every possible way, which will enhance the 'Life of children and Adolescents.
The focus of this MoU is to jointly conduct research on health care projects that involve technology such as AI/ML, Robotics, speech processing and others. Alliance university researchers have high expertise in various technologies. Hence, this joint research and experimentation will enable Alliance University to be involved into developing heath care applications.
