On World Environment Day by the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the Department of Student Support Services (DoSSS) and the National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell of Alliance University held a plantation drive at Government High School Indalwadipur and a cleanliness drive at Guddanahalli Lake, Anekal, Bangalore, Karnataka.

Fifty saplings were planted at the school and the office of the NGO, followed by a thorough cleanup of Guddanahalli Lake. These efforts were aimed at improving local green spaces and raising awareness about the importance of environmental conservation.

Collaboration with Local Communities

The events were conducted in collaboration with the Erin Foundation, Anekal, the Panchayat Office of Anekal, and the local communities. This partnership ensured the involvement of various stakeholders, enriching the experience and impact of the activities.
