Independence holds immense significance, transcending time and space and representing the freedom, dignity, and right to self-determination of the people. This day serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made and the challenges overcome in the struggle for freedom, preparing the people of India for a prosperous future.
Commitment to National and Global Goals
Alliance University joins the nation in reaffirming its commitment to advancing national interests, focusing on the Government of India’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. This vision aligns with global goals, including the United Nations Development Programme's (UNDP) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to create a prosperous and sustainable future for all. The University pledges to cultivate minds and nurture scholars on this nation’s soil, positioning India on the global stage.
Celebratory Events at Alliance University
The Independence Day celebration at Alliance University included various activities that reflected the University's values and aspirations. The event commenced with the gathering of faculty, staff, and students, followed by the formal introduction by the emcees. The flag was hoisted, and the National Anthem was sung, instilling a sense of pride and unity among all present. The security team led a march past, symbolizing discipline and respect for the nation.
Tribute to Cultural and Academic Excellence
The event also featured a series of cultural performances, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of India and the talent within the University community. The performances included a Ganesh Vandana by Dilsha and Misha, a band performance by Neel and his team, a dance performance by Ananya and her team, an Olympic role play by Soham and his team, a group song by Ascent Campus students, and a group dance by Anushka and her team. Additionally, an anti-ragging skit was presented by the students, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a safe and respectful environment on campus.
Recognition of Student Achievements
During the prize distribution ceremony, students were recognized for their achievements in various competitions. The winners of the poster-making competition were Shivansi Singh (MBA 2024) in first place, G. Jyotsina (BTech 2023) in second place, and Aamina Fajr (BA LLB 2024) in third place. In the slogan competition, Shashank Patel (BTech 2024) secured first place, Tanish Mittal (BTech 2022) took second place, and Sakshi Jain (BBA 2024) received third place. The essay competition winners included Purnima Shukla (PhD Scholar 2023) in first place, Raghav A. G. (BA LLB 2023) in second place, and Sania Baig (BBA LLB 2024) in third place.

As the event drew to a close, Alliance University extended heartfelt Independence Day wishes to all its faculty, students, alumni, parents, staff, support staff, and partners.
