Alliance Alumni Reunion 2015

Alliance University was engulfed in nostalgia on 19th December 2015, as the Alliance diaspora spread across various regions congregated to make the event a huge success. The event was a wonderful opportunity for alumni along with their family members to network with the fellow alumnus, faculty, staff and current students.

The event commenced with the presentation of Alliance University’s Annual report by Professor Ray Titus. Professor Titus laid emphasis on the various notable feats and laurels the University had received in the last calendar year.

The event had Mr. Ajay Nanavati, retired Director, 3M Co. as the guest of honor who in his address emphasized on innovativeness and entrepreneurship. He highlighted the importance of differentiating and distinguishing the common myths and realities related to entrepreneurship.
The highlight of the evening was the rich Indian musical folklore and performing arts which was at display. The audience was left spellbound by the masterpiece fusion musical performance Ragabhava Chetana.

The evening also saw the acknowledgement of noteworthy achievements of Alliancians in various fields like professional achievement, contribution to Alma Mater, Community Service, young entrepreneur and academic scholar.
Dance Performance by students of Department of Performing Arts
The stage event concluded on a high with a scintillating Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi performance by the students of Department of Performance Arts, it was a fusion of various dance forms and rightfully captioned as Utsava.
The Alumni Reunion wrapped up in some great networking between alumni and members from the University at dinner and good music kept the crowd upbeat through the DJ night. All this with a promise of doing and catching up with more of our alumni globally.
