Alliance School of Business, Alliance University welcomed a new batch of students into its fold. After the dignitaries lit the lamp, Dr. Sajan Mathew, Registrar-Examination and Evaluation, delivered the inaugural address. He congratulated the students on choosing to pursue a degree in commerce as this is the right time to develop new skills, bridge the gap between the exponential rate of technological growth and business preparedness. Dr. Sajan in his lucid speech, asked students to make the most of their time and seek valuable opportunities in the form of projects, internships and add greater volume to their skill inventory.
Dr. Sajan spoke of how the World Economic Forum has been debating about technological growth and lack of preparedness from businesses globally to embrace it. He advised students to be adept not just in matters related to commerce, but also in areas such as IoT, Blockchain, Big Data and AI. He concluded his address by reiterating the importance of student preparedness to take up opportunities, keeping in mind the ever-changing technological requirements and its impact on commerce.
Alliance University wishes the students the very best!
