It is with great pleasure and a sense of academic responsibility that we present Volume 10, Issue 1 of the International Journal of Law and Social Sciences (IJLS) bearing P-ISSN: 2454-8553 and E-ISSN: 2583-8644, the flagship double-blind peer-reviewed journal of the Alliance School of Law, Alliance University, Bengaluru.

This edition marks another milestone in the Journal’s enduring commitment to fostering high-quality research and intellectual discourse in the interconnected fields of law and social sciences. Following the success of the preceding volume, IJLS Volume 9, Issue 1 (2023), recognized for its inclusion in prestigious indices such as J-Gate, Manupatra, Heinonline, Google Scholar and SCC Online, this issue aspires to continue serving as an invaluable resource for academicians, practitioners, researchers, and students across the globe, promoting scholarly inquiry into critical socio-legal issues.

The current volume features an array of meticulously curated contributions by distinguished scholars and practitioners. These articles address a wide spectrum of contemporary societal challenges, providing nuanced analyses and practical recommendations. Such intellectual endeavors resonate deeply with the Journal’s mission to critically examine the dimensions of social transformation and their impact on legal paradigms, thereby advancing the discourse on issues of enduring significance.

We extend our profound gratitude to the Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor, the Vice Chancellor and the Leadership Team of Alliance University for their steadfast support and inspiration. We also wish to place on record our sincere appreciation for the members of the Editorial Advisory Board, whose strategic guidance remains invaluable, and the Peer-review Panel, whose rigorous reviews ensure the scholarly integrity and excellence of the Journal.

To our esteemed contributors, we owe our thanks for their exceptional work, which forms the essence of this publication. We also commend the Editorial Board for their dedication, diligence, and collaborative efforts, which have been pivotal in bringing this edition to fruition.

We are confident that this volume will prove to be an insightful and intellectually enriching resource for our readers. As we look to the future, we cordially invite submissions of high-calibre academic and scholarly research for subsequent editions of IJLS, as we collectively strive to deepen our understanding of the intricate interplay between law and society.
