Alliance University is a Private University established in Karnataka by the State Act No.34 of year 2010. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, and is the first private university of South India. ALLIANCE SCHOOL OF LAW
Alliance School of Law, Alliance University is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), New Delhi. The Alliance School of Law offers two five-year, integrated undergraduate courses in law, viz., Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law Honors - B.A. LL. B. (Hons.) and Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Law Honors - B.B.A. LL. B. (Hons.), as well as 3-years LLB course that has been carefully crafted and designed to prepare its graduates for rewarding careers in various roles and responsibilities in legal service organizations.
Alliance School of Law also offers a full-time, one-year Master of Law (LL.M.) degree with specializations in Constitutional and Administrative Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, Intellectual Property Law, Criminal and Security Law, Taxation Law and Legal Pedagogy and Research, to develop strong research expertise in law and legal principles. Alliance School of Law also offers a Ph.D. programme.
The Law School has established various centres for advanced legal studies and research to facilitate engagements with various sections of society for deliberations over a variety of socio-legal issues through initiatives such as Conferences, Seminars, Workshops, Books, Journals, Blogs, etc.
OVERVIEW
Law plays an important role in social transformation by having a direct impact on society. It has always been looked at- as one of the important instruments that can bring about social change. Thus, social transformation is the modification in the way people work. As a result, social transformation entails changes in people's working habits. Changes in technology, demography, competitiveness, conflict, ideology, political life, economic policy, and legal principles are all variables that contribute to social transformation. In an endeavour to promote excellence in legal research, Alliance School of Law organizes an International Conference on Law and Social Transformation (ICLS) every year. This year the Conference will be held on 9th of September 2023.

Faculty Members, Judicial Officers, Advocates, Research Scholars, and Students, among others, are invited to submit quality research articles from the given areas.

- Abstract: Not more than 300 words and a minimum of relevant 5 keywords
- Paper: Co-authorship is permitted to a maximum of one author. However, both authors need to register separately. In the case of co-authorship, at least one author must attend the conference to present the paper. No Proxy presentations are allowed. Both author and co-author need to pay separately

Call for Papers
This conference is exclusively for students from under-graduate, post-graduate and Ph.D scholars.
Students are invited to submit high quality research contributions describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental or theoretical work in any discipline around the main theme of the conference
The first author and presenter of the paper shall mandatorily be a student.
The maximum number of authors for a paper is limited to three. The first author shall be designated as the corresponding author.
