Dr. Swetha Shekarappa G earned her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Alliance University, Bangalore. She holds Post Graduate Degree in Power Electronics and Graduate Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University Belagavi. Her areas of interest include Power System Optimization; Reactive Power Planning; Swarm and Evolutionary Optimization; and Power Electronics and Electromagnetic fields.
Dr. Swetha has many research publications in SCI/SCI-E, Scopus indexed journals, book chapters and conference proceedings to her credit. She serves as a reviewer for reputed journals and conferences including IEEE Transactions, IET-GTD, Elsevier, Springer, IGI Global USA, and several other national/international conferences of repute. She has also attended several workshops, seminars, and faculty development programmes and guided several UG students in their project work. She is a life member of reputed professional societies like ISTE, IAENG, IFERP and member of IEEE.
