Dr. Manu Sharma holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. His doctoral thesis revolves around examining the relationship between inbound tourism sector and economic development in India. He has qualified UGC-NET JRF in Economics. He carries a learning approach towards international events and their economic implications, innovative methods of teaching which involve student friendly interactions.
Dr. Sharma has published research articles in journals of international repute and is also an active reviewer for various peer reviewed journals published by Emerald, Springer Nature, and Sage. He has also presented his research works at national and international workshops and conference. His research interests are in the areas of macroeconomics, tourism economics, development economics, environmental economics, time-series econometrics.
