Ms. Savita Vijay

Prof. Savita Vijay is a seasoned academic and industry professional with over 18 years of experience in fields such as Internet of Things (IoT), Computer Networks, Cloud Computing and Virtualization and Software-Defined Networks (SDN). Currently Serving as an Assistant Professor in CSE dept. Prior to this, She has also served as an Assistant Professor at Dayananda Sagar University’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering for 9 years. She held senior positions at prestigious institutions such as Amity University, Manesar, and Banasthali University, Niwai, where she worked as a permanent faculty member for over 3.5 years. Additionally, she has served at Galgotias University, Greater Noida.

Prof. Savita brings extensive industry experience, particularly in the Symbian mobile operating system, gained during her tenure at STMicroelectronics, Greater Noida. She holds multiple certifications, including a Remote Sensing certification from ISRO, Ahmedabad, as well as several IBM certifications such as Associate Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software V6.0, Associate System Administrator for Lotus Notes and Domino 8, and IBM Certified Trainer for DB2 9 Database and Application Fundamentals.

She earned her Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology from the University of Rajasthan and her Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering from MITS Lakshmangarh. Her academic journey culminated in a Ph.D.(Thesis Submitted) in the Internet of Things, reflecting her deep commitment to research and development in this field.

Prof. Vijay continues to expand her expertise through ongoing certifications and training. She recently completed the Swayam certification in Industrial IoT and has undertaken multiple courses on IoT and Networks through platforms such as Udemy and Great Learning. She also completed the Google Cloud Architect course on Coursera and received training directly from Google Bangalore. Her collaborations with Nokia have resulted in her students receiving the Best Project Award from Nokia India in both 2023 and 2024.

Her contributions to both academia and industry have positioned her as a leader in the field, with a strong focus on innovation and student success.
