Ms. Neha Chaturvedi is a dedicated legal professional with a passion for advancing knowledge and practice in Environmental and International Law. Her academic journey began with a 5-year integrated BA LLB degree from Ramaiah College of Law, Bangalore, where she developed a strong foundation in diverse areas of law. This experience inspired her to pursue advanced studies in International Law, leading her to complete my master’s degree at Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla.
As a UGC NET-qualified candidate, she has demonstrated academic excellence and a commitment to legal education. Her research interests lie at the intersection of Environmental and International Law, with a focus on addressing global challenges through legal frameworks. She is particularly intrigued by issues such as climate change governance, transboundary environmental disputes, and the interplay between international treaties and domestic implementation.
In addition to her academic credentials, she is a certified mediator, equipped with the skills to facilitate conflict resolution and promote harmony in complex legal disputes. Mediation has deepened her understanding of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, a crucial aspect of contemporary legal practice.
One of her significant achievements is receiving a prestigious research seed money grant of ?5 lakhs to support a project that aligns with her areas of interest. This grant has enabled her to delve deeper into innovative solutions to pressing legal issues, fostering a meaningful contribution to the Law.
Beyond her academic and research endeavours, she is committed to sharing knowledge and inspiring the next generation of legal professionals. She believes in the power of education, collaboration, and interdisciplinary approaches to create impactful legal solutions.
In summary, her journey as a legal scholar is driven by a passion for research, education, and problem-solving. She aspires to continue contributing to the legal field by addressing critical issues and shaping policy through informed legal perspectives.
