I am Akriti Gupta, and have pursued B.A., LL.B.(Hons.) from University of Calcutta, masters from LL.M. (Intellectual Property Law), Christ Deemed to be University. She has submitted her Thesis titled “LEGAL RECOGNITION AND PROTECTION MECHANISM FOR TRADITIONAL CULTURAL EXPRESSION: IN LIGHT OF TRADITIONAL CULINARY ART” at National Law University Jodhpur, Rajasthan in IPR. She was an Assistant Professor at The ICFAI University, Ranchi Jharkhand for 3 years and has taught Intellectual Property, Family Law, Jurisprudence, and Law of Torts. She has been an academic coordinator for 2 years for batches. Have been a member of the sexual harassment cell from 2021.She has also conducted an E-Conference on Changing Contours of Copyright Regime in Digital Era: Challenges and Opportunities on Oct 17, 2020. She was in charge of 15 students under me for the Student Internship Program. She has successfully participated in the 10th Faculty Induction Programme held during 15th July- 12th August’22 organized by UGC - Human Resource Development Centre, Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishvavidyalaya. She has also been reviewing Journals for JIPR which is Scopus Indexed.

  • She has presented a paper titled “Explainable AI meets the Criminal Justice System: Legal battle of Good, Bad and Ugly sides of Justice in this intervention” in the One-day Blended National Seminar On Cyber Crime And Criminal Justice System In India: Issues And Challenges In Collaboration With Cyber Law University, held on 18 November 2022
  • Have presented a paper in National seminar on emerging trends of Intellectual Property and innovation in the corporate sector in the contemporary world named “Murky waters of AI in light of Fundamental principles of Justice in the Criminal system: Boon or Bane?” on 24th to 25th April 2022.

  • She has worked on an essay under the co-authorship on the title -Justice delayed is Justice denied; which is published in International Journal of Legal Research, Volume 2, Issue 4, June 2016
  • She has presented a paper in Masters Conference in IP- MCIP 2.0 named “Explainable AI meets the Criminal Justice System: Legal battle of Good, Bad and Ugly sides of Justice in this intervention” on 26 and 27th March organized by Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur.
  • She has published a paper titled “Traditional Cultural Expressions: Analysis of Culinary Custom” which has been published in the January 2022 issue of JIPR, CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research, recognized by Scopus.
  • She has presented a paper in CLC’s 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and International Law” titled Title: “Re-examining Authorship and Ownership of Musical Works under International Copyright Law in the Wake of Artificial Intelligence: A Critical Analysis” which is recognized by UGC care list.
  • She has worked on an essay under the co-authorship on the title -Justice delayed is Justice denied; which is published in International Journal of Legal Research, Volume 2, Issue 4,June 2016.
  • Her recent paper titled “The Positivist Separation of Law and Morality: A Journey down the Hart-Fuller Debate” got selected for publication in “CPJ LAW JOURNAL VOL. XIII Jan, 2023” (ISSN 0976-3562) which is recognized under UGC care list.
