Mr. Rushi Prakash Upadhyay

Mr. Rushi Upadhyay is a dedicated academician currently pursuing his PhD from Kirit P. Mehta School of Law (SOL) of SVKM's NMIMS (Deemed-to-be-University) in Mumbai. His research interests primarily revolve around Human Rights, Family Law, Constitution and Media Laws.
With a solid background in legal academia spanning over two years, Mr. Upadhyay has demonstrated his commitment to education and scholarly pursuits. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at G H Raisoni University, Amravati, where he imparted knowledge in Human Rights and Family Law. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he actively contributed to the Training and Placement Cell and coordinated the Faculty Feedback. He also played a significant role as an active member of the Legal Aid Cell and served as a committee member for NAAC in his previous institution.
Mr. Upadhyay holds an LL.M degree from Symbiosis Law School Pune, specializing in Business and Corporate Laws. During his post-graduation, he showcased his academic prowess by presenting a paper at the Intellectual Property Law Conclave held at Symbiosis Law School, Pune in 2017-18.
Furthermore, he has augmented his legal expertise by completing three diploma courses specializing in Cyber Law (Asian School of Cyber Law), Business and Corporate Laws, and Intellectual Property Law (both from Symbiosis Law School, Pune).
With his diverse educational background and extensive experience in legal academia, Mr. Rushi Upadhyay stands as a promising scholar and educator in the field of law.
- Published a paper entitled “Impact of Mass Media in India & Legal Challenges faced by Mass Media in India” published in Anvesak, ISSN: 0378-4568 Vol.54, No. 01(I): January – June: 2024 UGC Care Group – 1, Peer Reviewed, bi annual Journal.
- Published a paper titled “Fair and Equitable Treatment and Evolving Standards under Investment Treaty Arbitration” published by Australian Business Deans Council for the publication in Journal of Informatics Education and Research with ISSN 1526-4726 Vol.3 No.2 (2023).
- Published a chapter “Casteism and Indian Society” in the book “Indian Social Problems” published by Eagle Leap on 20th April 2023 with ISBN No. 978-81-960330-3-3.
- Published a chapter “Information Technology Act, 2000: A Study” in the book “Information Technology” published by Eagle Leap published on 01 April 2023 with ISBN No. 978-81-960330-5-7.
- Participated in the Training the Trainers Programme on Climate Justice, Law Governance, Management and Policy organized under Jean Monnet Chair on EU Climate Justice Law, Governance, Management and Policy (EUC-LAMP) Project of Symbiosis Law School, Pune, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) held on 20th January 2024
