Mr. Mohd Azeem
Assistant Professor
Alliance School of Business
Mohd Azeem is working as an Assistant Professor of finance at the School of Business, Alliance University. He holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in commerce from Jamia Millia Islamia. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in Finance and Entrepreneurship at the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee). His doctoral thesis is titled "Impact of Internal Resources on the Post-Entry Performance of Incubated Startups: An Empirical Evidence from Selected Academic Incubator Startups". He has been a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Management Studies and the Department of Design at IIT Roorkee, where he assisted in courses such as Introduction to Corporate Finance and Stock Market, International Financial Management, Security Analysis, Financial Management, and Financing and Marketing of Innovation. He was awarded the Junior Research Fellowship by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of HRD, Government of India in 2018. He was also an active member of National Cadet Corps (NCC), where he participated in diverse adventure, social service and community development activities.
His academic and research interests encompass corporate finance, financial markets, sustainable finance, and entrepreneurial finance.
