Dr. Vivek V

Dr. Vivek is a seasoned educationist with over 18 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. His areas of expertise span Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Distributed Systems, Cloud Computing, Computer Networks, and Agent-based Computing. A CCNA-certified professional, he has also served as a Cisco Networking Academy instructor for over a decade. As a dedicated researcher and lifelong learner, he has published extensively in prestigious journals indexed by SCI and Scopus. He has been a resource person for numerous guest lectures and have actively forged partnerships with leading corporations, including Infosys, Cisco, and Microsoft, to foster industry-academia collaboration through Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs).

Currently, he serves as a Professor and Deputy Director at the Alliance School of Advanced Computing, Alliance University, where he leads initiatives to drive academic excellence, innovation, and industry collaboration. Previously, he served as Deputy Director at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, JAIN (Deemed-to-be University).

In a prior role, he contributed to cutting-edge research as a fellow at the Cisco-NUS Corporate Lab, National University of Singapore, where he guided and inspired the next generation of computer scientists. His academic journey also includes impactful roles at esteemed institutions like Karunya University and Alliance University, further enriching my experience in academia. His career remains committed to advancing academic excellence, driving innovation, and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications to empower futureready professionals.
