Dr. Vijayakumar is a distinguished educator and industry professional in the field of Operations Management. He holds an MIB degree with a specialization in International Business, an MBA, and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science. With a robust background that includes 4 years of experience in the Shipping, Logistics, and Banking sectors, combined with 14 years of academic involvement, Dr. Vijayakumar brings a multidisciplinary perspective to his work.
His expertise spans international business, lean supply chain systems, supply chain modelling and design, logistics, and supply chain analytics. Dr. Vijayakumar has held various strategic positions in the industry, where he has applied his knowledge to enhance operational efficiencies.
In addition to his academic and professional roles, Dr. Vijayakumar is a practicing international professional for the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification. He also provides consultancy services to numerous organizations and actively contributes to the academic community as a Board of Studies member for various universities and colleges nationwide.
Dr. Vijayakumar's research interests lie in the adaptation of artificial intelligence within the Operations and Supply Chain domain, where he continues to make significant contributions.
