Dr. Sunanda Roy

Dr. Sunanda Roy received his Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA under the Singapore-MIT Alliance Programme. He received his M.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur. He ranked 51 in the All-India GATE Examination with a 98.49 percentile. After pursuing his postdoctoral research at NTU, he worked with various organization as a faculty and research consultant.
Dr. Roy has directed a project on “waste PET bottle to energy harvesting devices” funded by the Newcastle University in Singapore (UKRI QR-SPF 2020-2021). He has strong collaborations with many international research teams. Dr. Roy has published several articles in top-notch journals.
Dr. Roy’s research activities focus on nanomaterials, smart materials, sustainable materials, waste valorizations, energy harvesting devices, polymer nanocomposites, green composites, various coatings, CO2 capture and conversion. He focuses on research that leads to real applications.
