Dr. Munmi Saikia

Assistant Professor

Department of Economics

Dr. Munmi Saikia holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Assam. Her research focuses on outward FDI from India, with a particular emphasis on the role of institutions in attracting FDI. She has published 7 papers in prestigious journals and presented her work at international conferences.

Apart from her academic achievements, Dr. Saikia actively engages in public discussions on economic and diplomatic matters. Her expertise in economic theory and empirical analysis contributes significantly to the understanding of international business and FDI. Currently, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, she remains dedicated to advancing economics and shaping policies that promote economic growth and development.
