Dr. Mayank Mathur

Dr. Mayank Mathur completed his Ph.D., Fellow in Management program from IIM, Lucknow, in 2021. His thesis topic was “the impact on the performance of technology organizations due to Mergers and acquisitions”. Dr Mathur completed a Master’s in Business Administration (PGSEM) from IIM Bangalore in 2010 and a five-year integrated Master of Technology from IIT, Bombay in 1999.

Dr. Mathur has 21 years of experience in the IT industry, leading and managing Data Analytics products and solutions in firms like Novell, Oracle, Cisco, and SAP. Dr. Mathur is also a co-founder of CellulaLife, a healthcare company founded in 2020. With his passion for teaching before his Ph.D., Dr. Mathur has taught at Alliance University, NMIMS Bangalore, along with his corporate career as a visiting faculty. After his Ph.D., Dr. Mathur shifted to full-time teaching at FLAME University. Recently, Dr. Mathur served as Academic Director at ISB Hyderabad, bridging the academic industry gap. Dr. Mathur also taught the students of the Advanced Management program in Business Analytics at ISB.

Dr. Mathur’s research is mainly in the Decision Sciences field of Supply chain Data Analytics on one end and in financial data analytics related to Mergers and Acquisitions. He has been actively researching industrial economics, specifically in the technology sector. With his extensive corporate experience in Data Analytics, Dr. Mathur brings a practitioner's flavor to academics. Dr. Mathur also has publications in the field of mergers & acquisitions.
