Dr. Kaushik Sit

Dr. Kaushik Sit received his Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University, where his area of dissertation focused on "Condition Assessment of Overhead Line Insulators using Advanced Techniques" (2019 to 2023). He studied at the National Institute of Technology Agartala, where he completed his Master of Technology degree in Power Electronics and Drives (2013 - 2015). He received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology in Kolkata (2006 - 2010). His research interests are Condition Monitoring of Overhead Line insulators, Power Quality Events Detection, Machine Learning, Image-based Signals Classification, and Analysis of Real-Time Signals. He also teaches courses in High Voltage Engineering, Control Systems, Power Systems, Basic Electrical Engineering and Power Electronics.
