Prof. Sundar Raj is a seasoned educator with over three decades of experience in teaching commerce at various prestigious institutions. With a passion for shaping students into well-rounded individuals with strong values, he aims to impart both knowledge and life skills for a character-driven career.

He holds a Master’s in Commerce (M.Com) from Bangalore University, earned in 1992, and a Bachelor’s degree (B.Com) from St. Joseph’s College.

His teaching career began in 1993 as a lecturer in commerce at Bhagavan Mahaveer Jain College. From 1996 to 2003, he served as a coordinator for the BBM course and a lecturer at BMS College for Women. Following this, he joined Surana College, where he taught commerce from 2003 to 2011. Additionally, he has been involved as visiting faculty at prominent institutions, including Manipal University (2006), Jain University (2016), and Christ University (2020).

His experience extends beyond teaching, having organized seminars and cultural festivals, demonstrating leadership in academic and extracurricular activities. He has also contributed as an external examiner for commerce students, bringing an evaluative and objective perspective to the field.

His teaching philosophy focuses on nurturing students' character while equipping them with academic knowledge. Through his diverse roles and dedication to academia, he has made significant contributions to education in commerce and management, continuously fostering the personal and professional growth of his students.
