Dr. Joshua Earnest brings over three decades of specialized expertise in engineering education and renewable energy technologies. His current roles include Adjunct Professor, Consultant to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Director (Technical) at a private renewable energy company. As an expert in Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Dr. Earnest has consulted for various universities and institutions globally, guiding them in curriculum development, assessment reform, and instructional design tailored to OBE.

In the engineering and technology domain, Dr. Earnest specializes in wind power and renewable energy technologies, serving as a consultant for international entities including Life Academy in Sweden, CEPRI in China, and universities across Namibia, Sweden, and the Philippines. His academic contributions include more than 500 training programs for engineering faculty in electrical engineering and engineering education, numerous publications, and Ph.D. thesis evaluations. He has been instrumental in pioneering India’s first online wind power courses and implementing innovative lab instruction methods.

Dr. Earnest's extensive international network includes partnerships with the University of Delaware, Uppsala University, and Delft University. His leadership roles include in-charge Director, Dean of Planning and Monitoring, and Head of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Education Department at NITTTR Bhopal, where he also served on the Board of Governors.

Dr. Earnest has received several accolades, including the Best Publication Award for his book on wind power. He has authored laboratory manuals, self-learning modules, and produced training videos that support technical education. Notably, he co-led competency-based education initiatives with Canadian experts under the Canada-India Industry Institute Linkage Project. Dr. Earnest remains a distinguished figure in renewable energy and OBE in India and internationally.
