Marine Day

The Cultural club of Alliance University is celebrating Marine day. The day is celebrated in Japan to give thanks to the ocean's bounty and to consider the importance of the ocean to the island nation.

Guru Purnima

The cultural Club is also celebrating Guru Purnima on 16th July. The term, 'guru' has a deep meaning behind it. 'Gu' stands for darkness and 'Ru' means removing darkness. The day is dedicated to gurus (religious and secular) to thank them for enlightenment.
