About the Club

"KRIDĀ DHARMA functioning under The Alliance Centre for Sports Law, Governance and Policy (AC-SLGP) at the Alliance School of Law, Alliance University, is a dedicated curriculum club committed to the advancement of Sports Law practices. This esteemed club serves as a dynamic platform for students to delve into the multifaceted world of sports, and legal implications. Our mission is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the intersection between law and sports. It seeks to enhance students' knowledge and skills in sports law through a combination of academic learning, practical experiences, and professional networking. By actively participating in The Resolute Minds, students gain invaluable insights into the principles and practices of ADR, preparing them to become adept and innovative professionals in resolving conflicts efficiently and amicably. Our club is dedicated to cultivating a community of resolute minds who are passionate about alternative dispute resolution and committed to making a significant impact in the legal landscape.

Club Objectives

  • Educational Excellence: Organize lectures, workshops, and seminars led by experts in sports law to deepen members' understanding of topics such as contract negotiation, intellectual property, anti-doping regulations, and athlete representation. Practical Experience: Facilitate internships, moot court competitions, and case study analyses that offer hands-on experience and real-world insights into sports law practice.
  • Networking Opportunities: Build a robust network of professionals, alumni, and organizations in the sports and legal industries, enabling members to establish valuable connections and mentorship opportunities.
  • Advocacy and Ethics: Promote ethical practices and advocate for fair play and justice in sports through awareness campaigns, discussions, and collaborations with relevant bodies and institutions.
