About the Club

"The Kannada Sangha aims to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of Karnataka and the Kannada language within the university Student community. The club aims to engage all students, regardless of their linguistic background, in learning about and appreciating Kannada culture.

Vision of the Club

The vision of the Kannada Sangha at the university level is to foster a vibrant community that celebrates and promotes the rich cultural and linguistic heritage of Karnataka along with Kannada Language, inspiring appreciation and inclusivity among all students.

Club Objectives

  • Cultural Promotion: To promote and preserve Kannada culture, traditions, and heritage through various cultural programs and events.
  • Language Development: To encourage the learning and usage of the Kannada language among students.
  • Literary Activities: To organize literary events such as poetry readings, singing and writing competitions to foster inclination towards Kannada literature.
  • Community Building: To create a sense of community among Kannada-speaking students and those interested in Kannada culture.
  • Leadership and Development: To develop leadership skills among students through organizing and participating in club activities.
