About the Club

The Mathematics Club – INFINITY aims for promoting interest in mathematics in students. The club functions under the leadership of faculty members from the Pure and Applied Mathematics department and the students of B.Tech. program. The club conducts various talks and competitions among the students across Alliance College of Engineering & Design. The club conducts the Intercollegiate mathematical competitions on special events like National Mathematics Day, Science Day etc. Interdepartmental activities like Math quiz, Aptitude test, etc to develop the mathematical skills among the students are conducted. Utmost care is taken by the members of the club to bridge the curriculum and modern needs.

Vision of the Club

To encourage passionate engagement with mathematics by promoting diverse activities that go beyond regular classroom learning.

Club Objectives

  • To encourage and promote interest and excitement in the study of mathematics To impart quality education to students and motivate them to apply various mathematical techniques in their respective fields.
  • To provide a platform to the students to exhibit their mathematical skill and to cultivate curiosity among students to learn mathematics.
  • The informal knowledge acquired through mathematics club activities supplements classroom learning.
  • To explore maths beyond textbooks and apply it in day-to-day situations.
