Centre of Excellence (CoE) - Makerspace
Alliance University Makerspace is a do-it-yourself (DIY) facility for those who enjoy making things, are inquisitive about how products function or want to learn new skills in experimenting. Makerspace has a diverse range of fabrication and testing capabilities, including 3D printers, CNC machines, IoT kits, arbitrary function generators, digital multimeters, high precision bench power supplies, soldering stations, welding kits, and a variety of hand and power tools.
Makerspace is accessible to the full Alliance University community as well as external users.
Overview
Alliance University Makerspace (AUM) is a collaborative and community-oriented workspace where individuals/startups with diverse interests, skills, and backgrounds come together to create, experiment, and learn through hands-on projects. This AUM provide access to a wide range of fabrication and testing facilities, including 3D printing, CNC machining, IoT kits, electronic component and circuit testing, and embedded computers that may be expensive or difficult to obtain individually. The Alliance University Makerspace is motivated by a do-it-yourself (DIY) mindset and a desire for creativity.
Vision
The Alliance University Makerspace strives to empower individuals to invent, create, and collaborate while fostering a culture of hands-on learning and technological exploration.
Mission
