The Alliance University Center of Excellence in High Performance Computing (HPC) Lab stands as a beacon of innovation and collaboration in the field of Computational Science and Engineering. Situated within the academic environment of Alliance University, this state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to advance research, education, and industry partnerships in the realm of high-performance computing.
The Alliance University Center of Excellence in HPC Lab boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure, including high-performance computing clusters, specialized hardware accelerators, and advanced software tools. This infrastructure provides researchers and students with the computational resources necessary to undertake complex simulations and data analyses.
The center actively seeks partnerships and collaborations with academic institutions, research organizations, and industry stakeholders to facilitate knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and collaborative research projects. These partnerships enhance the center's capabilities and broaden its impact on both academia and industry.
The center offers training programs in the latest HPC technologies for faculty and students, delivered by qualified trainers from industry, academia, and research institutes.
The Center has completed three projects that was sponsored by Karnataka State Council of Science and Technology on Automated Vehicle Inspection Layer Storage and Data Establishment structure, Library Access for Visually Impaired Students, Smart Band for Pregnancy Women in which students of the Final Year B. Tech Students from various specializations were involved.
The Center also is in the verge of collaboration with Centrally Funded Organizations like CDAC – Bangalore, CISR – 4th Paradigm Institute and with the industries such as Intel, Dell etc. This facilities Internships and Placement opportunities for students from all specializations. The Center also invites Research Associates and Post doctoral opportunities for projects of varied types.
